In the celebrated case G.W. Spencer vs. Mrs. Clara Barbe, judgment was rendered Monday in favor of the plaintiff. This case has been in courts three years and a number of suits have grown from it. It involved the location of Spanish grant lines on Lake Arthur and was brought to locate a starting point of a survey of Mr. Jackson, U.S. surveyor, in 1811 and 1826. The ca…
