Local student-teacher selected for grant

The Alpha Kappa Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma International Society of Women Teachers presented the Maud Anderson Grant to Sydnee Brown. Maud Anderson was one of the founding members of Alpha Kappa Chapter in Jeff Davis Parish and its first president.
