Several Jennings Kiwanis Club members gathered at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home (SWLA) recently to celebrate veterans’ October birthdays. There were 19 veterans with October birthdays, with the oldest being born in 1922. Everyone was served ice cream and cake. The SWLA staff does a wonderful job of honoring area veterans and the Jennings Kiwanis Club was pleased and proud to be of service.
