The second attempt to rezone residential property in Jennings to accommodate a cellular tower was shot down by city officials on Tuesday.
The Jennings City Council unanimously voted against a request from Mitchell and Virginia Sonnier and Steven Lee to rezone their property on North Cutting Avenue from residential to commercial, something the landowners have attempted to do since 2021.
