ELTON — An official request to revoke the current mayor here passed on to the next phase of the process earlier this week.
The petition to recall Elton Mayor Kesia Lemoine was sent to Gov. John Bel Edward’s office Tuesday morning after it was validated by Jeff Davis Parish Registrar of Voters (ROV) Joann Blair.
