City officials here are gearing up for the first-ever two-day City of Jennings Mardi Gras Festival happening this weekend.
This year, Jennings Mardi Gras will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 10-11, and will offer several events for residents both young and old, according to City Event Coordinator Katelyn Little.
