LAKE ARTHUR — The town has been awarded a $680,000 grant to use for street improvements this year.
Mayor Sampson “Poncho” LeJeune recently received a letter from the state saying the town has been awarded $680,000 through the Louisiana Community Development Block Grant Program (LCDBG) which will be used to resurface several streets around town.
