School board recognizes WAR student

Jeff Davis Parish School Board Superintendent John Hall (left photo from right) recognized Welsh-Roanoke Junior High School eighth-grader Hyacinth “Heidi” Williamson after she was named a Student of the Year state finalist. Williamson was awarded a certificate and a challenge coin after she led the invocation before the school board meeting.
