ELTON — Local resident John Davis petitioned Elton Town Council to consider extending water services to his property just north of Elton on Plant Road, which had some residents up in arms.
Although the property is located outside of Jeff Davis Parish, Allen Parish has no plans to supply Davis’ property with water so the town plans to step up and provide water services.
