Calcasieu River under partial closure
CALCASIEU PARISH — Due to high water, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury announced its decision over the weekend to close part of the Calcasieu River to recreational boat traffic. The closure, effective immediately, is from the U.S. 171 bridge north and east to the Jeff Davis Parish line.
