Louisianians’ sacrifice honored on 80th anniversary of D-Day

It has been 80 years since the infamous “day of days” when American troops and their allies stormed the beaches of Normandy, France to fight back the invasion of Germany and the spread of Hitler’s ideology as he declared war on Europe, the U.S. and other parts of the world.
