The City of Jennings, along with a group of residents with a passion for local history, is inviting the community to come out and honor the city’s founder, Sylvester L. Cary.
A memorial plaque for Cary will be dedicated at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 14 at Founders Park, located on the corner of North Main and West Nezpique streets in downtown Jennings.
