ELTON — Effective immediately, the Town of Elton is under a burn ban, according to officials. The ban will remain in effect until further notice.
The burn ban does not apply to prescribed burns performed by the Department of Agriculture and Forestry, those trained and certified by the agency, general agriculture burns or outside barbecue grilling.
