Xan John has announced his candidacy to represent the Third Congressional District, which will appear on the Nov. 5 ballot.
Born and raised in Crowley, John attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law. He said he is seeking office to give the district’s citizens a seat at the decisionmaking table and uphold traditional conservative values.
