ELTON — The Town of Elton will be without a clerk a little longer after the council was unable to move forward with the hiring process at Wednesday’s meeting due to legalities.
Although Mayor Mike Pierrotti suggested in October to hire Norma Brady to fill the open position left when former clerk Charlotte Artis resigned, he recommended that the council consider Sandrez West for the position.
