Once upon a time, Thanksgiving was a lot easier.
Before people could fly or snow-ski, they lived a stone’s throw from Grandma’s house and there was no need to ask the question, “What are you doing for Thanksgiving?” because you were going over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s house…and washing the dishes afterwards.
