The Park Pavillion in Lake Arthur Park was the setting for a recent social event for a local group of widows and widowers. LIFT, Living Information For Today is a social program for widows and widowers. The program helps the members engage in life again after the loss of a spouse within a social setting.
LIFT is sponsored by Hixson Funeral Homes and meets every Wednesday of the month.
