Charles Honored for Service

Officials presented longtime public works director Cyril Charles with a plaque at Tuesday’s council meeting, honoring him for his 28 years of dedicated service to the City of Jennings. Charles retired Oct. 31 from his position at the helm of the street department. Mayor Henry Guinn thanked him for all his hard work, saying Charles would be “a hard one to replace.”
