Bethel Christian School student Layne Hicks has been named Jeff Davis Parish Fifth Grade Student of the Year. Layne was the top of seven competitors to win this title. She will continue on to represent the parish at the district competition in Baton Rouge. Layne is the daughter of Matthew and Ashley Hicks.
