LAKE ARTHUR – The Lake Arthur High School Tigers played bi-district Class 2A playoff host to the Ferriday Trojans Friday night, in front a of a packed house at Wilbert C. “(Nooky)” Moore Gymnasium. Both teams came out struggling to find points in the opening minutes before finding their strides and played a hard-fought opening playoff round that the Tigers came out on top of by the score of 75-59.
