JENNINGS - Control issues haunted the Jennings Bulldogs Thursday in their opening game of the Eunice High Tournament against the Lafayette Lions.
The Bulldogs (4-3) struggled to find the strike zone for the better part of six innings as three pitchers combined to issue 15 walks and hit four batters in an 18-8 setback.
The game was halted after the sixth inning due to the mercy rule.
