SULPHUR – In what was supposed to be a down year for the always-talented Kinder baseball program, the Yellow Jackets proved most wrong by claiming the Class 2A state championship with an 11-4 thrashing of No. 2 Doyle. The Tigers had defeated Welsh Wednesday night to advance to the final, but district mate Kinder made amends to earn yet another 2A baseball state championship.
