BASILE - The Elton Indians traveled to Basile Friday night to do battle with the Bearcats in the “Battle of the Bayou Nezpique.” The Indians fell to their guests by a final of 49-20 in a game that was shortened in the second half due to a running clock. Basile got back into the win column with the victory, and improved to 5-2 overall, while Elton dropped to 2-5 on the season.
