LEROY - Kole Myers proved to be a thorn in the side of reigning Class 3A state runnerup Iota Saturday in Jennings’ showdown with the Bulldogs in their third and final game of the North Vermilion Tournament.
Myers baffled the Bulldogs on the mound by scattering just four hits while striking out nine in earning an 11-1 complete-game victory.
