WELSH - The Welsh Lady Greyhounds took two-of-three games in their Welsh High School Softball Tournament over the weekend by blasting Vinton 17-1, thumping East Beauregard 14-8, but dropped a heart breaker to Crowley by a count of 10-9.
The two wins put the Lady Hounds at 9-7 overall for the season, and opened district 6-2A play on Monday at Lake Arthur.
