LACASSINE – The No. 3-ranked Hathaway Hornets (HHS) followed an exciting girls’ game by thumping the Lacassine Cardinals by a final of 72-35 in the night’s finale of 6-B action. The Hornets built a huge first-half lead and held on to claim the 37-point victory to move to 22-5 overall, 2-1 in 6-B play. The loss dropped LHS to 12-19 overall, 0-3 in the 6-B standings.
