REEVES - The Lacassine Cardinals used a six-run top of the sixth inning here Thursday to rally for an 8-7 win over Singer in the opening day of the Reeves High School Tournament. With the win, the Cardinals upped the overall mark to 4-3 on the season.
LAKE ARTHUR — The Lake Arthur Lady Tigers stayed perfect on the season Thursday night by earning a 10-run rule victory over the Westlake Lady Rams. The Lady Tigers scored in all five innings to grab a 17-7 win and pounded out 19 hits off of Westlake pitching.

HATHAWAY - Inspired by having more family and friends inside Charles Groth Gymnasium, the home-standing Hathaway Hornets had a 77-53 quarter-final win over the visiting Fairview Panthers. The No. 3 Hornets trailed the No. 6 Panthers twice early in the game, and then steadily increased their lead to punch their ticket to the 2021 Marsh Madness Tournament.
