WELSH — The town is moving forward with a new recreation facility at Sportsman Park after officials accepted a construction bid for the project.
Mayor Karl Arceneaux said Morvant Construction submitted the lowest of six bids received for the new building. The bids ranged from $570,000 to $749,000.
