US STOCKS DRIFT NEAR THEIR RECORDS AS OIL PRICES SINK
NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stocks are drifting near their record heights. The S&P 500 rose 0.2% Friday, coming off just its second loss in the prior 10 days. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.5%, and the Nasdaq composite added 0.2%. Momentum has slowed for the market this past week, but a report coming later in the morning about U.S. consumer sentiment could drive more movement.
