The annual contest features high school juniors or seniors from Jennings, Hathaway, Lacassine, Welsh and Elton high schools competing for the title during the 6 p.m. pageant in the Glen Daigle Arena at the Jeff Davis Parish Fairgrounds. Lake Arthur High School and Legacy Christian Academy did not have representatives this year.
