(The Center Square) — Federal officials are expected to decide this year where the Interstate 49 Inner City Connector, plagued by local opposition and escalating costs, will be constructed in Shreveport.
The community is invited to keep the party going for the next installment of the free concert series Turn It Up Tuesday.
Crews with the Department of Transportation and Development recently installed a new overhead railroad signal on La. 26 in Jennings. Now, motorists will have enhanced visibility when a train is passing through the city.
