A group of parish residents who discovered a passion for learning more about family history is holding its monthly meeting and inviting the public to attend. The Genealogical Society of Jennings is hosting its first meeting of the year from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Jeff Davis Arts and Technology Center, located at 137 North Main St. in Jennings.
