BATON ROUGE – It was another banner day for Jeff Davis Parish High School sports, as members of the Hathaway and Lacassine track teams performed at the LHSAA Class B state track and field meet. Hathaway earned its second state championship in a matter of days as Zachary Phenice claimed an individual state championship in the javelin event at Bernie Moore Stadium on the campus of LSU.
