LACASSINE — The Lacassine Cardinals and Lady Cards took on Eunice Tuesday night and left with a pair of wins over the Bobcats and Lady Cats. In the opener, the Lady Cards wasted little time in handing their guests a lopsided loss by claiming a 64-17 win. In the boys’ game, the Cards stayed hot by also claiming the 72-59 win over a good Eunice team.

LACASSINE — The Lacassine Cardinals continued their blistering start to the season by moving to 8-1 overall with a 77-60 thumping of the LaGrange Gators at John Juneau Gymnasium this week. The Cards placed a trio of players in double figures, led by Jordan Garcia’s 24 points. Kane Broussard also had a big night by pouring in 19 tallies, while Alexx Thomas chipped in 11 markers.
