The Jeff Davis Alpha Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International Teacher Organization presented its annual $50 stipend to first-year teacher Sarah LeFleur of Elton Elementary School.

Jennings Rotary Club President Cynthia Hoffpauir presented two Jennings High School graduates each with a $500 scholarship to continue their education at SOWELA Technical Community College Jennings Campus. The recipients were Ayriahnna Keiser and Kaleb Touchet.
