To the dismay of Greyhound fans, it was the Tigers who scored the lone run of the contest to win 1-0 to advance. Doyle improved to 18-14 overall, and will travel to Loreauville for a best-of-three regional round set with the Tigers. The Hounds ended their season with an overall mark of 11-20.

Leading 5-4 heading into the top of the seventh inning of their Class 3A bi-district playoff contest with the No.22 Mamou Green Demons, the No. 11 Jennings Bulldogs gave a up a 3-spot in that frame to eventually fall 7-5 to end their season. The Bulldogs finished off their 2022 campaign with an overall record of 13-16, but went 7-3 in league play to capture a 4-3A runner-up finish.
