SULPHUR - The Jennings Lady Bulldogs pushed their winning streak to five games Thursday night by defeating 5A Sulphur 60-58 in a thriller on the road. The Lady Dogs pushed their way out to a commanding first-half lead, then fought off a huge second-half surge by the Lady Tors to claim the win. With the victory, Jennings improved their record to 14-2, while Sulphur fell to 10-11.
CHURCH POINT - The No.1 Lake Arthur Lady Tigers (LA) continued to ride their wave of dominance on the hardwood Thursday night as they blasted the host Church Point Lady Bears by a final of 88-25. LA continued its ability to knock down shots from all over the floor, while also playing stellar defense on the other end.
