As temperatures drop, the risk of illness – including cold and flu – rises. It can be easy to mistake the flu for a common cold since many of the symptoms are the same, but muscle aches, cough, fever, headaches and sore throat are some of the more common signs you may be suffering from the flu, which tends to come on quicker than a cold.

Not too long ago, smoking used to be everywhere. In fact, many people remember the days before there were even smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants. People who smoked and others who didn’t mingled in the same dining room. They sat side-by-side on a plane. Some rode in the backseat of a smoke-filled car, and no one gave it a further thought.

The presentation was made at the Habibi Shriners meeting in Lake Charles this month.
