Pass It On Workshops Held
On Wednesday, July 7, the Pass It On Junior High Workshops at First Presbyterian Fellowship Hall in Welsh ended with everyone having enjoyed all the fellowship and learning taking place. Community volunteers came together for three days to demonstrate their appreciation for this particular age-group of junior high students. Pastor Chan Willis spoke about the importance of passing on time, talents and love for Christ. He thanked everyone for participating, including both volunteers and young people.
American Legion Officers Installed
During the July meeting of James O. Hall Post 19 of the American Legion and Unit 19 of the American Legion Auxiliary, both from Jennings, American Legion Auxiliary State President Jackie Monroe (right) installed Unit 19’s officers who will serve for 2021-22. Rotary Club Donates to Library
