CROWLEY – The Lacassine Cardinals (LHS) earned their second consecutive blowout win this week when they travelled to Crowley Tuesday night and hammered the Northside Christian Warriors 74-45.

The Jennings Lady Bulldogs moved their impressive record to 9-1 Monday night, defeating the Elton Lady Indians by a final of 77-52 at Gaudet Gymnasium. The Lady Bulldogs again used a balanced scoring attack in the win, putting four players in double figures in the win. ULM signee Vici Woods had a big night for her Lady Indians, pumping in a game-high 21 points in defeat.

Foo Fact of the Game: Despite both Jennings and Madison Prep having highscoring offenses, the game was a defensive struggle with only 3 offensive plays of 40 or more yards.

LAKE ARTHUR – The Jennings Lady Bulldogs (JHS) split a pair of games in the Lake Arthur Tournament last week. The Lady Dogs flew past perennial Class 1A power Merryville by a final of 47-28, but dropped their first decision of the 2020 season a day later to the St. Thomas More Lady Cougars by a final of 63-44.

LAKE ARTHUR – The Lake Arthur Lady Tigers (LA) claimed a pair of victories in their tournament this week to move their overall record to 11-2.The Lady Tigers defeated Lacassine 68-30, then topped Ville Platte by a final of 74- 34.

LAKE ARTHUR – The Lacassine Lady Cardinals (LHS) took home a big win over the Delcambre Lady Panthers in the Lake Arthur Tournament last week. LHS toppled Delcambre by a final of 52- 32.
