In honor of Black History Month, Jennings Elementary School created a live museum to highlight the accomplishments of African Americans throughout time. There were displays from each grade level, as well as art from the older students and historical figures come to life. Principal David Reed was pleased to offer the event to both students and community members for the first time in the school’s history.

Down at Salon J, they have a variety of highly trained professionals who provide a multitude of services. The salon is filled with talented and knowledgeable stylists, including lead stylist and salon owner Christine Koll, who has 37 years of experience, senior stylists Jennifer Prejean, Jennifer Crader and Aimee Strong, stylists Autumn Bouley and Niki Watkins, barber Hannah Petry and esthetician Emily Dupris.
